Alpha-blending the default textures into the edges of the texture I use was one way I thought I could manage it. I'm not sure how the copyright of those covers using them in that manner, or if they can be freely distributed as part of a scenery pack for fg. Playing with them at home is harmless enough in my humble opinion... :-) I want to try doing the entire city out to around Petrie in the north, Mt Crosby in the west, Beenleigh in the south, and the bayside in the east. For the outer suburbs I'll use lower res textures, but up the resolution around the CBD and airport.
