[STR New] Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2128 Version: 1.3-current Correction: after some debugging I found out, that the compilation problem in gl.h is not related to FLTK but to a now fixed fault in a different library, a header of which got included before [FL/]gl.h and caused the error. However, the empty-window problem or crashes in the application startup are still there. I got the impression, that this may be caused by my NVidia GeForce 8600M GT system providing only 5r6g5b-visuals - not a single 24-bit one. Starting my demo in gdb shows a seg-fault in glXChooseVisual(). This does not happen on the old laptop or the NVidia 9600 GT card in my tower providing 24-bit visuals. I'm not aware, where this function is called, but would be willing to investigate end eventual alter the code to only try to allocate visuals, that really exist, chosing some heuristically closest match to the desired one or terminating with a speaking message. Who feels responsible for this code, please coordinate with me.
