My GL stuff works OK on Nvidia h/w if I use the nvidia driver, but I get very variable results with the nv driver. I also have one box with an ATI card, and it was OK with the ati binary driver. However, since I'm tracking ubuntu on that box, and they have moved away from the ati binary driver recently, GL support on that box is now very flaky. And it really isn't anything we are doing - it is equally flaky for all GL apps...
