[STR New] Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2515 Version: 1.3-current Tested, and it works *somehow* (for some value of somehow ;-) ). Now, with this version (r8259), I can type dead keys, but they show immediately in the buffer. Then, when I type the next key, they are replaced with the composed key, i.e.: type: ` shows: `, then type: e, replaces: ` with: è. That is _really_ unusual and not as in other Windows apps (e.g. while I was typing this in firefox). Normal behavior would be that dead keys are dead keys ;-) - they don't show until repeated or combined with the next different character. If this (r8259 behavior) is what you intended to do, then: I /don't/ like it and vote -1 for this behavior. FYI: I tested also with r8204, and dead keys worked as usual. So, what did you want to fix with this change in r8205 in the first place? Unfortunately there was no comment in the svn log about it :-( Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2515 Version: 1.3-current
