[STR New] Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2515 Version: 1.3-current I did not introduce this change. Was it Manolo when he was working on compositing? The new behavior is standard on OS X, although the dead key gets a yellow marker under it. It's nice and resembles what a typewrite does: type the character, but don't move the carriage. I am glad we have it on OS X. It's neat for typing Umlauts on my US keyboard, and it's a huge improvement when typing Korean. I would give it a +1, but since I rarely use MSWindows these days, I am voting 0 here, as long as we keep the behavior in OS X and X11 (do we have it in X11? I don't remember).
