As I said, I would like if possible that we concentrate on functionality/usability in priority, so I would vote for no image and a simple next link as it is in choice 2 would be perfect for me, for now.
We should probably continue to be paranoids about the usability/consistency of our existing doxygen documentation. In particular, if someone has an idea to make a macro or a tool to substitute: - "myvar" by \a myvar - <I>myvar</I> by \myvar And maybe other constructions I didn't see, that would be great.
