> Again: I wanted to fix STR 2063, I did it, and that work WAS complete.
No it is not for me, because there is a Makefile in xutf8 supposed to do it
that is still in the svn and that does not do what it is supposed to do.

>You reopened it for no real reason, and YOU wasted MY time.
The real reason is that it is not sufficient and dangerous to hide the xutf8
pseudo-usefulness problem by ignoring it while letting it in svn.

>You also reverted my change without understanding what it was good for, and

Well, sorry if you felt it like this but this how it is done, when Mike did it
to me not so long ago, I took this opportunity to make a better fix and thanks
him for that.
Also, I did understand your fix, and I am pretty sure that this xutf8 Makefile
is being used in some target but decided you could have a look yourself as
you're on.

Sorry but you don't decide either when a discussion is finished or not,
but for sure ; with all the time I already spent to make you understand why
something should be done, at least not closing this STR until the utf8 makefile
related problem is fixed, I could have fixed the problem 3 times including the
makefiles ...
