At least, this is what is done for doc-1.0 and doc-1.1 www svn repository,
so I did exactly the same.

The current doxygen generated pdf file is indeed 2 to 3 times bigger that other 
ones.
I have seriously reduced its size already, almost only use b/w images, but if 
anyone has other ideas to get it more compact : you're welcome :-)

I would also be really grateful if someone have a deeper look to the htmldoc 
feasability, it's a greatly flexible tool that IMHO could do better job for 
fltk, but I'm not sadly not familiar enough with it.
So last time I generated an 1.3 fltk doc with it, it was about 1000+ pages long 
(still it was remarkably easy to make it and also looks good) !
