Hmm, did it work at all? How would it be done? I tried with nedit, and there I could do a rectangular selection by dragging the mouse while holding CTRL. This doesn't work with my app in FLTK 1, and I also tried the editor demo in FLTK 1 w/o success. Ian, do you know *how* it used (or was supposed) to work? *If* it didn't work in FLTK 1 at all, then the decision is easy: kill it. But if it worked, maybe some users would complain? We could still remove it, but we should be aware of that...
