It's even worse than that. We have "ide/VisualC6" project files in FLTK
1.3. I don't even know what year's version this is - even MS's naming
conventions are changed every now and then.

These files can be used and converted with Visual C++ 2008 Express to its
own format, but *NOT* with Visual C++ 2010 Express. No specific error
message (like "format too old") - it simply fails with "could not be
converted" or similar.

However, once converted with 2008 Express, you can convert these files
with 2010 Express. But: there's no way back. This makes it impossible to
use a new version and write old file formats for compatibility. :-(
