Yes, I've noticed this too.
In an effort to keep things up to date, could it be worth updating all of
either the VC++ or VCNet files, and then removing the other one? From what
I can tell, MSVS2010 and future versions will be able to open both the
VCNet and the VC++ files.
If we were to convert everything to MSVS2008 files and clean out one of
the directories, perhaps this could make life a little easier. Should this
be an option we look at and work from there?

TBH, I'd prefer upgrading everything to 2010 format and working from there
('cause for one, that'd make my life a little easier); I know MSVC++ 2010
is avaliable for a free download on the msdn site. This would probably
allow us to keep all project files up to date and usable with an
accessible/avaliable IDE.

Thoughts?
