Newtonscript sounds good and I saw that you have a project of a kind of IDE for newtonscript, I searched for newtonscript on the net and only could find this one as the most recent development of it at http://trac.so-kukan.com/newt/, but it is GPL licensed would be best LGPL, MIT or BSD.
