-99 No, please don't do that! We discussed this a while ago already, IIRC. The FLTK file chooser should please stay "minimal", as it is. There is a "Native File Chooser" Widget (Greg ?) that could be used by someone who likes this (e.g. _deleting_ files when the software is designed to _save_ a file).
