This works OK on linux (so is probably OK for the OP) but not for me  
on OSX - I don't have a version of objcopy that can generate Mach-O  
PPC binaries... A quick google suggests that I may not be alone in  
this...

However, Harvey's scheme using bin2h works fine cross-platform,  
though I worry how it would cope with large binary files - I have a  
vague recollection that there is (at least in some compilers) a limit  
on how big a predefined array can be.
