Both will work (Alt-c and Ctrl-x)
However, if you have a widget active that contains text, the Ctrl-x keystroke
(lower case!) will be handled by the text widget (Fl_Text_..., Fl_Input, and
some more), and never reach the Menu. Please try another shortcut and see if
that works (not Ctrl-X,C,V,A)
