Yes, the toolkits GTK and Qt already are aiming touch GUI's. But who needs
that? Ok, for a smartphone or tablet pc, it's a good choice...but on a home
desktop pc the classic desktop is the best. Video/Grafic editing, developing,
"working",...all these things needs a mouse and a keyboard :)
Gnome3, Unity and the overbloat KDE...there are not many people who wants such
Desktop Environments. XFCE and LXDE (and Gnome2)...this is perfectly for a home
pc. However based on old unsupported GTK2.

In my opinion the classic desktop environment will be the leader, and touch
GUI's will be for playing around on couch's :)
And due to the fact that FLTK is almost the only classic and speedy toolkit it
has the chance now to get a especially position in gui toolkits.

I don't have much experience with FLTK and what it is able to...but for me it's
the same like GTK2 with a unattractive theme :)
And of course, more speedy and portable.

Sorry, if my english is not so good ;)
