Looks as if all these invalid messages get triggered by replies to the "Missing scandir() (STR #2687) - now STR #2931" thread.
What makes thin that is, that they always immediately follow a reply *AND* that the "Author" field of the invalid message (in the web view) seems to correspond with the number of lines in the reply.
