a friend of mine here in italy posted a birthday card to her mum back in
england.
her mum didn't get it. not so unusual, but, sometime later when she was
back in the post-office she was called to one side by a member of staff,
and reprimanded for posting a non-regulation sized envelope, which the woman
had in her hand! my friend apologised, explained that she had not known
about the regulations (in the uk, you can post just about anything as long
as it has the correct stamps etc) and politely asked for the card back so
she could put it in a regulation sized envelope.
she was told that this was impossible!?? the card remains confiscated...
sad eh?
then there's the identity card fiasco!!!
apparently i can't have blue eyes as they don't exist! he tried to make me
have green eyes
and my friend can't be bald......!
