I agree. Which was what I was getting at by suggesting fictionalising it.
Removing it a step from reality.

what about Carol's feelings in all this?

If some of us want to take this further - here is an alternative suggestion.
In the style of role-playing...
Contact Sol off-line if you wish to be a major player.
Sol will set up two fictional Fluxlist members on the list - each assigned
to
two real members (a perpetrator and a victim)
An act of abuse (if there is such a thing)
or maybe an "artistic act of aggression"
can then take place safely
and the issues raised can be debated
etc

The rest of us can watch
wait
smile
and join in if we want to
