Trismegistos is the european spelling. Asklepius is the hermetic text where he can be 
found. In the Middle Ages the text was an important source for (neo)platonic thinking.

I do have a copy, but I haven't actually read it. I've started it numerous times, but 
it's way too hard for me to understand. A Finnish translation was made some years ago! 
Joyce's 'Ulysses' is also translated into Finnish, and I recall it was one of the 
first translations of the book ever.
