Hi all,

That's because a typo confused Adrian Dannatt (the actual author of the
article) with Adrian Damant who isn't anybody.
Dannatt seems to have written enough...try sticking him into your search
engines.

I'm not all that familiar with Piper's work but had a look at her website
and think that her intellectual achievements are probably carrying some less
interesting artworks (just a personal opinion). The issues Dannatt seems to
be bringing up suggest that he resents the fact that Piper is exploring her
racial and cultural heritage through her work. Likening her to a kind of
conceptual art Eminem as far as I can see. It suggests that Dannatt hasn't
bothered to familiarise himself properly with Piper's work, even a cursory
glance at her work shows what she's about. As to who Dannatt is I have no
real idea and I would have thought that whoever he is it is of no
consequence.

cheers,

Sol
