It and its creator were the cause of serious flames and tensions on Fluxlist
in the summer of 1999. Mainly because the list was constantly bombarded with
information about it. Nevertheless it was single-handedly responsible for
the need to create a listowner group that could act to stop people behaving
with no regard for others on the list. We just got to a stage where no-one
was posting apart from the Genius 2000 guy. More info is at his website

Actually the project itself wasn't what annoyed people it was more the fact
that he had no interest in Fluxlist other than using it to promote the
Genius 2000 concept. Some people on Fluxlist became quite involved with this
project and hopefully they enjoyed it but the real point was that there was
a Genius 2000 list and a large number of mails being sent to Fluxlist at the
time really belonged on their own list.
Anyway I suggest anyone interested has a look at his website and makes up
