Hi all,

Thanks for the couple of answers to these questions: There are of course no
right or wrong answers here I just thought that a little reflection does no
harm once in a while. My answers are as follows,

1) What is the goal of Fluxlist?

I would give three goals:
1) Community.
2) Being creative within that community.
3) Sharing information pertaining to our common interest of Fluxus and the
ideas that surround it.

2) What relationship does Fluxlist have to Fluxus?

Again three ideas:
1) Without Fluxus, Fluxlist would not exist.
2) Fluxlist is the only contemporary incarnation of Fluxus that still works
via a large (100+) group of people. Having been begun by members of the
original Fluxus group it is grounded in a continuum of Fluxus activity
spanning over 40 years.
3) Since I'm unaware of any Fluxus groups as large as this list who are
currently working and were begun by members of the original Fluxus group I
will go as far as to make the grand claim that....in the future without
Fluxlist, Fluxus would not exist in any manner comparable to its original
form.

(wish i could think of one now). all other lists i have known just talk and
after a while rehash everything over again. <

I have to say that I agree that it is the projects that have made the
difference and set this list apart from others. IMHO - It is also the
projects that bring the list closer to the form of original Fluxus.

cheers,

Sol.
