see...i think this guy needs to just record the BBC audio straight to 3 VHS tapes instead of sitting up all night and then he can do his editing in dosages.
i did this many many years ago (video and audio) but there didn't exist "custom-designed software" for this (and it was only about 6 hours in length). actually, the feelings during the listening to this kind of thing run the gamut from calmness to the jitters - a surprising range of emotions felt by experiencing "nothing."
