i think your own choice of materials is fine just so it's not a block of wood. keep in mind that we want to be able to carry it in a pocket and it should be able to take a little wear. separate pieces seems best since we don't know what the thickness will be. i plan to perforate one end and run a cord through to bind it.

that size is the measurement of my digital camera and seems large enough for our puposes. still no thought on a deadline but maybe 1 march, is that too soon for the covers and info to be sent to me so that the little elves can begin assemly????
