alan, you dont want to know how many hours it takes to put a flash animation together... its sort of like being locked in a room with a coyote for a month or two... part of the problem of course is its really easy to do cliche preset pieces that look like everything else, to make something which has my "signature" involves a lot of making the same little scene over & over.
its interesting to me that the pieces of mine that I like the best are all tributes to artists that have passed away in the last few years, philadelpho, dick higgins, & armand schwerner (an amazing poet & translator)... partly for me I have a real aversion to repeating myself, my ideas, my works... & am intensely interested in other's approach to making their work... & there seems to be some sort of cyber psychic extention to carrying on someone else's spiriti & ideas, even if only for a single piece. mIEKAL alan bowman wrote: > mIEKAL > > > > SEEDSIGNS > > > > I REALLY like this, my compliments! > I love seeing gems like this on the web. > How long did it take to put together? > > Made me realise just how dull the site I've ben working on for 3 months > actually is..Oh god...I feel a 'moment' coming on....... > > a
