Not that the below option will not work but if you really are worried about loosing the info.. If i were you i would purchase a new hd and do a fresh install on the new hd and then get a external enclosure for the old hd  or put the old drive in the case as well so you will have a backup disk that will prevent this from happening in the future.. I like the external enclosures better because you can easily transport a lot of info ie. pictures,movies, music, and other crap to almost any computer. ...

XP is drivel but this feature actually works pretty well. I've used it on
