If you (and Dale) don't mind, a few comments and suggestions, for all

I know that Drew is (or was) on vacation. It's better to post
technical queries to [EMAIL PROTECTED] directly since there'll always
be someone available to help.

Although Shape is a "simple" format there are still pitfalls for the
unwary and coaxing multiple outputs is also tricky. We'd have to see
the log and workspace to be sure what is happening.

We're just trying to get a new user started here, not cover all the
reader/writer/transformer combinations (which runs into the millions).

I wonder if you're looking in the right location. For sure we do have
a number of sales movies, but there are some created by the support
team (and trust me, we're not the sales type). See...

That's disappointing. It's difficult to defend our product without
making it sound like a) we're blaming you, b) we don't care and c) it
can't be our fault because FME is 100% perfect. None of these are
true. But FME does have an incredible range of functionality,
sometimes you just have to dig a little to find how to make it work
for your exact situation.
