Hi
I have a number of shapefiles all with different schemas but some
common attribute names.
In workbench I have routed all of the source feature types into one
'attribute renamer' to change a common attribute name. I have then
used the 'feature type filter' to get the original feature types back
again.
I have noticed that all of the output feature types from the filter
now have all of the attributes from all of the other input feature types!
Is this correct? Can I turn this off (or get6 around this) so that the
output feature types only have their original attribute. I know I can
use the attribute remover afterwards but my shapefiles have a large
number of attributes!
I have tried this with a number of different filters such as the
'geometry filter' and I get the same result.
I am using FME 2006.
