I will file a request, but I don't know if it will be easy or not. If the underlying library we use supports this it will be easy; otherwise it will take longer.
In the meantime is there a workaround we can help with? Perhaps filtering features by feature type (level) and assigning patterning on that basis? Then we integrate these datas into our GIS dedicated to network solutions (electical, gaz, ...). So if we get nice Microstation file with buildings drawn with patterning and if we only get empty shapes into our GIS, it will seem to be a poor integration tool for our customers ! Our aim is to use FME to convert input datas and get them very similar into our GIS. > So, it is very important for us to get these patterning informations. > > Best regards > > Sylvain Caillet > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: mark2atsafe > To: [email protected] > Sent: Monday, September 25, 2006 7:32 PM > Subject: [fme] Re: DGN V8 - patterning information about shapes > > > Hi Sylvain, > As far as I know we don't supply this information and have no plans to > support it.
