Hi all,
Quick update: the issue appears to be that custom transformers don't
appear in the the "Custom Transformers" section of the gallery; at
least not until one has been placed on the canvas. It's the same
behaviour as in 2006GB, so it's more of a usability issue than a bug I
think.

Anyway, the issue's filed as PR#11034 and slated to be fixed for FME2007.
