True, but to defend the Safe point of view, with a group-based
transformer there's no real point getting the value from a feature,
because each feature could be different. EG - if you have two lines 1m
apart, would you snap them if one had a tolerance of 1.5m, but the
other had 0.5m?

(Admittedly whether snapping is group or feature based is debatable,
but you get the idea).

With a feature-based transformer we usually do permit an attribute to
be selected as the value (eg the Bufferer buffer size) because it's
relatively simple to implement and can't conflict with any other feature.
