Good afternoon,
With a certain shapefile ('Highways.shp') as a Source Dataset, my
Workbench log includes the following message:
Shape file 'J:\Highways' doesn't follow Shape spec. Content Length is
wrong.
FME will perform auto-compensation to correct.
Does anyone know what this means? I know that Workbench does not
provide this message with other shapefiles I've processed before, so
there must be something peculiar about this file.
Actually, the most important question is: Does receiving this message
mean that Workbench won't process the shapefile in question correctly?
My destination datasets actually look good, so if there is a problem
in the output, I haven't detected it yet.
Many thanks,
J.D. Leach
