Hello, I'm working on a calendar with photos for our union. The printer said that any digital images need to be in CMYK color (not RGB). All the union members are now, of course, using the latest digital cameras, not the old fashioned kind, and so my images are RGB jpg files!
I assumed that I would be able to switch from RGB to CMYK as easily as I switch from "indexed color" to RGB. I am currently using the LE edition of Photoshop and I can't find anything about CMYK in the help files - everything I've done in the past has been RGB for the web. I now have the full-blown Photoshop - but I haven't had time to install it. I am so far behind on this project, I'm hoping someone can tell me if I'll find CMYK on the full-blown version, in which case I'll take the time to install it tomorrow (or IS indexed color CMYK - I was assuming not since it's in gifs which are also usually for the web). Help! Thanks! -cynthia **Folkschool-list archives are at: <http://www.mint.net/folkschool/helpnet/archives.htm> Sponsored by Pine Tree Folk School ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [email protected] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?a84vzQ.a9gqS3 Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
