Move the repository to github.com? Unlike svn, github.com allows trivially to fork (create your own branch), all branches (forks) get visibility (so people interested in experiments can discover them and follow them easily or even collaborate on them) and git makes it easy for the repo maintainer (e.g. Ian for main repo) to merge changes from branches (forks). github.com nicely solves the problem for both potential contributors/tinkerers and repository maintainers. -- kjk _______________________________________________ fonc mailing list [email protected] http://vpri.org/mailman/listinfo/fonc
