The reporter didn't bother to actually answer the question, but I'll try:

- identifying fix/workaround for spacing issue (comments in
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/pango/issues/386 indicate, that this might Pango
issue, but I am not sure - correct me if I'm wrong, please) and re-assigning it
to the appropriate package
- identifying all fonts affected, perhaps prioritizing them (I guess
repackaging Terminus only would solve >50% complaints about this change)
- mass-update to affected packages (?)
