I have a bit of a problem that I hope someone can help with. Although I
appreciate Keiron's efforts with SVG/Batik, I can not use them because I am
still stuck in JDK 1.1.8 land. I had pulled down from CVS as of before he
merged the batik stuff in. I was hoping that I could stay at that level
until I could go to JDK 1.2+ or something. However it looks like there are
some problems in that revision which I am hoping have been fixed (tables,
region-after).
My problem is how can I get the latest changes without the SVG/Batik stuff.
I expect that I will need to do some stuff manually, but I am hoping that I
will not have to manually review each individual file to find what has
changed and if I want it or not. I have been trying to get WinCVS to get me
the information with little luck. I know that I could do a diff, but that
would be huge. Is there a way that I can get the file modification
information with the comments for files modified from my local copy or since
a certain date with the comments? Basically something like the "cvs commit"
e-mails without the DIFF stuff. I am looking at the fop-cvs archive at
theimsgroup, but I am hoping that there is a better way.
There is probably a real easy way to do this with CVS, but I have not been
able to find it. I know very little about CVS.
Sorry if this is a bit off topic,
Art
