The board does not have any specific concerns at this time.

But from a community standpoint; please consider this carefully; there are
a lot of people who are crucial to this community; and have been
instrumental in getting apache where it is today; who would never come
near a '@author' tag - as they fix bugs, help with releases, testing,
respond on mailing lists, help people out, documentation, translation,
design - rather than writing big enough blocks of code. Which is why
something like a 'changes' file with 'item' wise acknowledge ments is
often more approriate than sprinkling code with @author tags. Or worse;
reserving one at the very top for just a select few. But again - the fop
community needs to figure this out - your commnity, your environment.

However seeing things like 'my baby - I wrote a lot' does worry me; as it
is often the community as a whole who makes thigns work.

So personally (and this msg does not come from a @apache.org addr) - I
would not go there and kind of keep on the path of 8 months ago
