oh, sorry for the mistake, my last PDF was OK. I guess that the cause of
my initial trouble was that I patched the branch rather than the trunk.

I'm happy to see that your patch works fine (with respect or conditions
of use ;-)  ).
I have some Arabic materials to check your job (with FO source and PDF
output from other FO engines, using DejaVu font familly).

I'll be back after holidays to adapt my FOs (to use ArialUni) to make
further tests and feedbacks.
