Exactly, in fact i generate XML fo batch Report using perl, then pass them through FOP utility generating pdf file and finally sending the rendered file to printer [which are printer and mailed to vendors]. Page x of y is easier to do this way... faced with logo display.. initially i tries installing ImageMagic but had a easier way using FOP. -shantanil
