i'm still unclear on this requirement. i downlaoded the binary and,
according to the docs, the binary is *already* compiled with JAI
aupport, i just have to download JAI myself and make sure FOP knows
where to find it.
in short, for the clueless like me, what is so magical about copying
those two files under {fop}/lib?
anyway, i'll test some variations of this shortly and report back.
