I've only used FOP 0.90 for some small documents, but I'm already
thrilled. The page display is much better than with 0.25. I'm using the
docbook XSL stylesheets - compare the display of <procedure>s of the new
version with the old one - that's a big difference.
Images aren't scaled down automatically any more. That's correct in my
eyes - the software shouldn't do things automatically that keep possible
problems and errors unnoticed. Perhaps an option to do it automatically
and putting out a warning would be useful.
A big thank you to the developers, you have done a great job! I'm
looking forward to working with the new version.
