Please: - post (or provide a link to) a small PDF that shows the problem - post the original image that was used to produce the above PDF - state on what kind of printer you're trying to print, the operating system and the Acrobat Reader version - find out if there are any color-related settings on the printer driver you're printing with.
Maybe with that we can find out what's happening. I'd suspect that it could have something to do with color handling in general (somewhere in the processing chain). I don't know much about color handling, I'm afraid, so I can't promise that I can help much. But I've seen color mismatches myself.
