Ah ok, so if you want to use this in a web application in Tomcat I suggest you place the stylesheet in a subdirectory of your web app and use the ServletContext's getResource() method. That makes it container-independent and you don't even have to maintain a configuration setting for a base directory. Furthermore, have a look at FOP's sample servlet and the ServletContextURIResolver which will help you to handle all the other resources that FOP might want to access (images etc.). HTH
