Fop if i recall correctly doesn't support yet full output in CMYK... so, and as the work i'm doing only requires black and another color... it's fairly easy to use colors that map into those channels with the right percentages.
To check what i wanted i built a small .fo file with one color (blue) as fixed and the other two variant from 0 to 255... The result is in the attachment and was rendered by fop 0.20.5 and the thrunk of 20060808... There is a bug in 0.20.5 in the higher numbered colors and the "map" doesn't match exactly from both versions...
