Hi, my problem: I'm getting images from a database that I want to include on my pdf. The sizes of these picures I don't know. My aim is to place them on my pdf (with scaling if they extend a certain width or height), without wasting space.
For example: maxWidth and maxHeight for my area are 100mm. If an image exceeds either maxWidth and/or maxHeight the image should be scaled to fit the area. If there is space left in height (after scaling) this area should be usable (not wasted with blank area). Why? Since some images are very small (less than 10mm) a lot of area is wasted and the output looks ugly. I'm wondering this is possible with FOP/fo? yes/no. If yes, how?
