Hi, All:

I have a weird issue with printing FOP(v.0.20.5)-generated pdf files
using Acrobat 8 and HP Color LaserJet 4650.

The PDF looks fine on screen. It's only a printer issue.

On the print options dialog that launches when you being to print, there
is an 'Advanced' button.
On the Advanced dialog, there is a 'Language:' option. The default value
for this option is 'Language Level 3'.
This appears to be the case with all versions of Acrobat.

In Acrobat 6, with the default 'Language:' option to 'Language Level 3',
the printed page is fine.

However, when we attempt the print using Acrobat 8, the printout is
missing about 95% of the data. i.e. it's mostly blank. Then a second
page is printed with:

ERROR: undefined
OFFENDING COMMAND: !

In Acrobat 8 only, changing the 'Language:' option to 'Language Level 2'
causes the printed page to look fine.

Any idea what this could be?

Thanks a lot for any advice.

Biying Huang
