Hello, Manfred,
I'm using 0.93 here. It is working for AWT preview, and it is fully
working with JDK 1.6. If it would be a font base problem it should be
equally bad in any case, or am I wrong? The whole document is using
Courier font, which is a built in PDF font AFAIK. Just this line is
making trouble.
Kind regards,
Kai

Hello Kai,
have you tried to set the correct font-paths/font-definitions, this
could be may be the reason.
If fop (0.20.5) does not has the correct font-definition he uses
default-fonts and also does not have the correct metric.

Thanks for the hint.
I tried that, but no success in this case...
Any other idea?

A big shot in the dark (very dark), but take a look at:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/2d/flags.html
We had some video issues with several older machines running 1.5
that the "*noddraw*" fixed.
Just a shot.
