Hi FOP-Experts,
I have a problem with my PS generated files: they seem to be "shifted" to
the up-left side compared to PDF output.
In fact, I have optimized my edition using PDF output. But when I finally
tested the PS output, all my fields were outside the corresponding zones
on the pre-printed formular!
Ouch! I wouldn't have expected a noticeable difference between PS and
PDF. How much is the PS version shifted compared to PDF? Even 1mm is
unacceptable IMO.
Of course, a quick solution is to use different margins for PS output...
But I am wondering if there is better way to do it (a renderer config
param in gop.xconfig or a hidden FOP input)?
There are no options for this. It just shouldn't happen. I just want to
check something. When you say "PS generated files" are you saying you
generated PS using -PS option on FOP command line and then used LPR to
send Postscript to the Printer? You didn't use -Print option on FOP
command line did you? As thats not the same thing!
I don't think it is a FOP bug?? I think to have remarked the same shift
when printing the samples given in the FOP package. But it is more serious
now because off the pre-printed forms.
