There is a note at the link http://xmlgraphics.apache.org/fop/0.95/fonts.html saying 'The PFMReader tool does not yet interpret PFB or AFM files, so if you want to be correct, you may have to adjust the values in the XML file manually.'
Can you please give some more insight into this? There are only two readers available in fop.jar namely PFMReader and TTFReader respectively for pfm and ttf font files.
